Apparantly, I’m missing out on some great Bruno’s-nuts-in-Eminen’s face moments on MTV since I don’t have cable.

Oh man, TV I did NOT miss you
Hitting up La Carafe for a drink on the staycation
Transit experiment #2 a success! Bike stayed on, bus fairly on time. Planning route to gym for yoga, then sauna. Then, staycation @ Magnolia
Transit experiment #2: taking bus to work on the 9. Bike seems to be ok in the rack in the front, though I’m a little nervous RE stability.
http://bit.ly/13tPM6 Interesting safe pass law for motorists around cyclists in Texas. Two thoughts: 1. Cyclists know your place on the road
Two: Never expect people in cars to do anything that approximates sense when you’re on a bike. You will be MUCH safer on a bike that way :)
http://bit.ly/12V5BZ Once this site’s actually up, it seems like it’ll be about as silly/awesome as you might expect. Props to the 3rd Coast
Great. Now I have the G.O.B. magic show theme song stuck in my head. And I can’t remember the actual song name. Might be a long day :)
http://bit.ly/BIUZo Apparently this place has their office in my building. Their slogan: “Sport Hunting is Wildlife Conservation” -Uhh, wtf?
The new Black Moth Super Rainbow is blowing my fragile little mind y’all.
Mmm, cup #2 is almost perfect. Thanks @jeremyywang for the suggestion, need to check it out in the future.
Spam I just got: “Upgrade your website with Web 2.0!” - sweet, where can I give you all my pertinent credit card info as fast as possible???
Also, experiment number 2 this week: french press b/c coffee here SUCKS. So far success, but need to extend brew time by at least one minute
So far I’m not regretting my experiment of no car for the week. I’m pretty tired, but I think I’ll get used to it. 20 miles a day isn’t bad.
h8 u powerpoint and yr limited corporate color palette
And just like that, I might be headed to Columbia for a few days. Its good to be back in Sales Support.
I *finally* figured out who that coworker I don’t like looks like: http://bit.ly/1166fz - 2nd one is an EXACT REPLICA (thanks, @rstevens)
http://bit.ly/b19gR The wave of the future people. Say good-bye to your cars (please). (HT @torturedmonkey)
http://bit.ly/53bUO I think my favorite one is “That’s a Moray” - I just about fell out of my seat :)
It’s Health & Wellness week here at work and what did I find in the kitchen this morning? Popcorn and cake. Nice.
Thanks to all the Houston drivers that didn’t hit me on the way to work. I know you’re not used to seeing people on bikes.
From our new biker friends: “Antarctica is at the bottom of the United States, so…”
Yard work done just in time! Enjoying the first summer afternoon rain shower on the porch. Next up: gym, housecleaning & relaxification.
Even after my quadruple shot from @coffeegroundz this AM, I’m still struggling today. It’s been a loooong week: 3 flights, 3 states. Oi vey.

Watching a tank chase Indiana on a horse in the Last Crusade provides an interesting juxtaposition to what I’ve read in History of Warfare
Oh yeah, and also renews my interest in visiting Jordan and other counties in the Near East.
http://twitter.com/HoustonPress/status/1837335946 Drank strikes again. Thank you @houstonpress :)
Ahhh, how I have missed you automatic toilet with your heated seat. @ftrks annex, it has been too long. Far too long.
Peace out, H-town. Headed to @ftrks desert annex for the next 3 days. Wall beer, steam shower, hot tub, pool, and all-around relaxification
Oh, right, almost forgot: dananana!
video: little joy :: “next time around” - http://is.gd/Ab11 I wonder when they shot this video (and if I was there…)? Rio is so beautiful!

It’s amazing the difference in how awake I feel from 6 hours of sleep versus 7. Sleep less during the week, more on weekends = new plan.

Mom’s Day breakfast off without a hitch, veggie patties and all. Commence lazy Sunday reading NY Times and enjoying the day on the porch.
A year later I still don’t regret spending all that money on a Dison. However, the irony of vacuuming around the Roomba is not lost on me.
